Toyosu

How to Access

Just 11 minutes from Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel by Taxi. Ask our Front Desk if taxi is not waiting in front of the hotel or order taxi via GO! App.

By Public Transport, take the JR Keiyo Line to Shinkiba Station, transfer to Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line to Toyosu Station. Ride the Yurikamome Line to Shijyo-ekimae Station.

Toyosu Fish Market—Tokyo’s primary wholesale market for seafood—kicks into action in the very early morning. If you’re keen to witness the famous tuna auction, plan to arrive before or around 5:30 a.m. The bustling auction typically wraps up by 6:30 a.m., so getting there as early as possible ensures you’ll catch the most exciting moments. Afterward, many visitors head to the on-site restaurants for a fresh sushi breakfast.

Keep in mind that the market is generally closed on Sundays, most public holidays, and certain Wednesdays (known as market holidays). Always check the official Toyosu Market calendar before you go to confirm operating days and hours. Arriving on a weekday—particularly outside major Japanese holidays—often means fewer crowds and a better chance of enjoying the market at its liveliest.
